Central Middlesex Hospital Orthopaedic Theatres
Electrical Project Value – £ 1,000,000
These two orthopaedic theatres are set to make a significant impact on the NHS by providing an additional 4,000 surgeries per year. The works were completed in March 2024, just in time for the new financial year. R P Bray carried out the installations of the new IPS/UPS system throughout the theatres, ensuring the supply to the new medical pendants and bedheads in the 10-patient recovery area was appropriately backed up in case of power failure to the building not effecting the theatres. As part of this project, the lighting, small power, nurse call, and containment systems were all upgraded. Furthermore, RP Bray successfully installed new theatre lighting, supported by state-of-the-art PACS panels and smart theatre control panels. All completed on time and within budget for the client.
